Emmy – Rwandan Artist

Emmy, a Rwandan musician and songwriter who also goes by the name Nsengiyumva Emmanuel, was interviewed by Excel Global Media Group. As part of his music release, he is currently on tour in major US cities such as Minneapolis and Washington DC. On September 30th, 2017, he performed live at the Nigerian Cultural Parade, which took place near the Toyota Center in downtown Houston.

Emmy’s passion for singing began during his childhood in Rwanda, where he grew up in a religious family. However, it wasn’t until 2010 that he started pursuing singing as a professional career. Initially, he focused on RnB music but later switched to Afrobeats. In 2012, Emmy was selected as one of the top ten finalists in the annual Rwanda reality singing competition show, Primus Guma Guma Super Star. Unfortunately, he had to withdraw from the competition due to his relocation to the United States.

Emmy has a collection of 13 songs, including two collaborations. While currently on tour, he has previously performed in Houston, including a concert last August with fellow Rwandan superstar KITOKO. Emmy’s music can be accessed online via platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube.

In addition to his music career, Emmy is actively engaged with the Rwandan community and has been involved in several cultural events such as Rwanda Days. He is presently on a US Tour named “WABAGA HE”.
