This week’s Excel Doyen of Beauty is Gugu Mbatha-Raw, an English actress who has played notable roles such as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Octavia in Antony and Cleopatra, and Ophelia in Hamlet in various forms of media.
In recognition of her contributions to the drama industry, Gugu was honored with the appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in the 2017 Birthday Honors.
