Rema Opens Up About Coping with Fame, Criticism

In a recent interview with French media personality Mehdi Maïzi, Rema, the talented Afrobeats star, has shared his secrets for dealing with the pressures and criticisms that come with fame.

Excel Magazine International reports that the 22-year-old singer revealed his reliance on prayer, trusted mentors, and friends to stay grounded.

When asked about his coping mechanisms, Rema emphasized the importance of prayer in his life. “I pray a lot, seeking God’s wisdom, guidance, knowledge, and patience. I’m grateful for the people around me, who offer valuable advice and support,” he explained.

Rema acknowledged the significant influence of industry veterans, including Don Jazzy and Baba T, who have been instrumental in his journey.

“Having good people around me, who tell me the truth, even when I’m wrong, is crucial. They help me stay focused on my music and keep me grounded,” he said.

The singer also spoke about his introverted nature, which helps him maintain a sense of calm. “I spend most of my time alone, making music, playing video games, and reading books. It’s essential for my creative process and mental well-being,” he added.

Rema’s humility and willingness to learn from others have endeared him to fans worldwide. His dedication to his craft and commitment to staying true to himself are a testament to his rising success in the music industry.
