Ifeanyi Ubah, who is a businessman, senator representing Anambra South senatorial district in the National Assembly, and also the Young Progressives Party (YPP) gubernatorial candidate, has extended his campaign for the Anambra state governorship to the United States of America. He has organized a series of town hall meetings with the state’s diaspora residents.

From July 21, 2021, until yesterday, the Senator representing Anambra South senatorial district, Ifeanyi Ubah, who is also a businessman and the gubernatorial candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, held a series of town hall meetings with Anambra State indigenes in the United States. The objective of these meetings was to present his manifesto, which is titled ‘Arise: A New Anambra is Possible’, and the meetings were held in various states such as Texas, New York, New Jersey, and California.

Ubah explained to his audience the reasons behind his decision to run for the governorship position, and he assured them that he would install security communication devices in all communities across Anambra state to ensure the safety of people and their properties. During the “Meet and Greet Interactive Session” in California, he appreciated the immense support he had received from the Anambra indigenes living outside the country.

Senator Ubah characterized Los Angeles County in California as an industrial center and proposed that with appropriate measures, vision, and connections, LA could develop a long-lasting sister-city alliance with Anambra that would foster economic and cultural connections.

He further stated that California has the world’s fifth-largest economy, and he plans to collaborate with the state to rapidly develop Anambra State if elected to provide purposeful and competent governance for the state.
