UNDP Appoints Patoranking as Africa’s Goodwill Ambassador

Nigerian music sensation, Patoranking has taken to social media on Wednesday to share an exciting new chapter in his career.

The award-winning artist announced his appointment as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Africa.

Excel Magazine International reports that in his new role, Patoranking will champion youth empowerment, innovation, enterprise, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the continent.

The artist expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment, highlighting the significance of the opportunity to collaborate with young Africans and drive positive change.

“I am honored to step into the role of UNDP Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Africa,” Patoranking announced on his social media handle. “This is a unique opportunity to lend my voice to important initiatives such as @timbuktooAfrica and collaborate with young Africans to find solutions that will bring positive change and progress for our continent.”

The singer also extended his gratitude to his team, the UNDP Africa team, and the UNDP Regional Director for Africa, Ahunna Eziakonwa, for their support and confidence in his new mission.
