In a grand celebration, the son of Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Chinedu Iwuanyanwu, married his partner Obianuju Iwuanyanwu (nee Odurukwe) in Imo State, Nigeria on Saturday, April 18th.
Chinedu and Obianuju’s love story is a testament to the popular saying “Love at first sight”. They first met each other at a mutual friend’s birthday party under unusual circumstances, and what began as a captivating love story has now blossomed into a lifelong commitment.

The wedding ceremony held at the Cathedral Church of Transfiguration of our Lord (CATOL), Owerri, Imo State, and had a significant turnout of family and friends. In attendance were notable personalities, including high-ranking politicians and dignitaries in Nigeria such as Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, Chief of Staff to Imo State Government Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, Imo State Commissioner of Information Chief Mbadiwe Emelumba, Minister of State for Education Hon. Emeka Nwajuba, Chief Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, wife of Ondo State Governor, and several others.
The groom’s parents, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Princess Frances Iwuanyanwu, are the proud parents of the couple. The bride’s parents are Sir Isidore Odurukwe and Mrs. Edith Odurukwe. Princess Frances Iwuanyanwu is also the CEO of The Venues Interiors.
After declaring their marital vows and commitment to spend the rest of their lives together, the couple was united in marriage by the ceremony’s officiating ministers, including Archbishop of Aba Province Most Rev. Isaac Nwaobia, Anglican Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese Rt. Rv Emmanuel Madubuike, and Anglican Bishop of Owerri Diocese Rt. Rev. Chukwuma Chinekezi Oparah.
